Dr Napalm flew into the UK last night from Finland. Having been awake since the early hours he still played two fantastic promotional gigs as a warm up to the ‘Reaching High Concert’ at the Camden Head this Saturday (December 8th) with fellow act Blair Chadwick.

The first was at the ‘Star of Kings’ in Kings Cross, hosted by Atul Rana. It was a musicians networking event with special guest speaker Caroline Bottomley from Radar Music who gave an excellent talk on music videos.

Dr Napalm, Blair Chadwick and the Nearly man then pinged over to Camden on the Northern line to play a special slot at ‘Under Bar Solo’, courtsey of the wonderful promotions company ‘Kiko Village’.

Aswell as stunning the crowd with his orignal brand of Nordic Punk Folk he also introduced us to Finnish sweets ‘Salmiakki’: a rather salty delight!

Tickets are selling well online so secure your place today and follow the link below.

Where the money is going….

Aquaterra is a Charity and we re-invest all profits back into the community. The money raised from “The Reaching High Concert” will be going directly to help children and young people with learning disabilities and autism.

Here are some of great things we do;

  • At Islington Tennis Centre we have a unique association with Metro Blind Sport where Tennis players with visual impairments are benefiting from sessions which use specially adapted soundballs that allow players to hear the ball coming.
  • At Sobell we put on Boccia; a Paralympic sport for athletes with disabilities that have a major impact on motor skills.      Participants throw, kick or use a ramp to propel a ball onto the court with the aim of getting closest to a ‘jack’ ball. It is played indoors on a court similar in size to a badminton court.
  • Also at Sobell we also host Sanjuro SEN. The classes have been developed with and for people with physical disabilities and associated learning needs. A highly accessible class format allows individuals with vastly different abilities to participate at the same time. The drills and exercises in Sanjuro SEN have been specifically designed to encourage and develop the skills and abilities of each participant in a high energy, enjoyable and controlled environment.
  • Wheelchair volley ball, basketball, badminton are also attended at Finsbury leisure centre.
  • Multiple sclerosis and autism gym sessions at Highbury leisure centre.

Please show your support and come to Camden on Saturday 8th December!

Special Headliner Flying over from Finland!

Dr Napalm and his Infernal Ukulele

I am delighted to announce lead singer and song writer from Finish punk band ‘Line of Leaving’; Dr Napalm will be headlining the Reaching High Concert at the Camden Head on Saturday 8th December.

The Finish Punk sensation is flying over especially to play the concert.

Heres what a critic says about the band;

”The   best thing is that this band doesn’t just try to benefit from being   fashionably politically aware but actually do and write about things that   others just talk just about.”– VALPASVUO, DESIBELI.NET

This is an Aquaterra Charity Fundraising concert to raise money for children with learning disabilities and autism.
